Marion Cotillard: I LOVE YOU
80 Academy Academy Awards.
Anyways, the Oscars showed and YES I watched it! It was joyful night, especially for brothers Joel and Ethan Coen who won 3 Oscar...EACH. However, its not a surprise at all. Though throughout the night, we had a few disappointments...Here is a little comparison and my comments about the winners and the show itself...

Prediction: MARION COTILLARD for "La Vie en Rose"
Too obvious to be true. I can't even say anymore...Everyone knew it so all the nominees were all cool and enjoyed the night...His Spanish speech to his mother was really sweet. (I Wish) I Wish I could do that some day...LOL.
Best Actor in a Supporting Role
Winner: JAVIER BARDEM - "No Country for Old Men"
Prediction: JAVIER BARDEM - "No Country for Old Men"
I got a little freaked out with her dress...and her win. I don't know. I haven't seen "Michael Clayton", but with all the feedback it's getting, I wonder why Tilda Swinton won. This ruins my streak of good predictions...her speech was dull and it seemed like people weren't listening to her...awww Cate lost in both categories...

In the Spirit of Valentine's Day: 10 Great Movie Couple
Portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet
Love Points: Freezing to death for her. Leaving you hella rich fiance for him. Breaking social class rules. Looking out for each others backs. Young "car" love. WOW. Now this is the absolute and truest first love I've seen in a movie. Aww.
Portrayed by Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman
Love Points: First of all, they have great singing voices. But battling out a mean, old Duke with lots money and an evil body guard is waaaaaaaaaaaaay cooler. Awww.
Portrayed by Richard Breymer and Natalie Wood
Love Points: I think seeing Natalie Wood this crazy and hysterical in a character...yes she loved him....A LOT. Awww.
Portrayed by George Peppard and Audrey Hepburn
Love Points: They saw through each others "money-hunger-caged" selves and found one another in the right time. Awww.
(Portrayed by Joesph Fiennes and Gwyneth Paltrow)
Love Points: Duh, he wrote the greatest Romance play in the world for her. She practically backstabbed the Queen of England and other royal blood for him. Awww.
Portrayed by Jude Law and Nicole Kidman
Love Points: He walks thousands and thousands of miles for her, even though he's just gonna die at the end. She survives the whole Civil War and waits for him the whole 4 year period. Awww.
Portrayed by Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr
Love Points: They reunite (or at least attempt to) with each other after a year. PLUS, he goes back to her even with that ugly leg and annoying singing children. Awww.
Portrayed by Mathew MacFayden and Keira Knightly
Love Points: Despire all their prejudices and social status, they realize that they actually love each other truly. Awww.
Poopie...at least I'm back.
With the crashing of my computer, I missed so much things. IT'S SO ANNOYING. I missed blogging about the BAFTAS and Roy S's death and SO MUCH things. But I'll look at the bright side. At least I got my computer back. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARK GABLE!
So this was just my little Clark Gable Birthday Tribute. Happy Birthday Mr. Gable!!!
ONE COOL FACT: Gable is the first actor even to have gotten a song written for him. Download Judy Garland singing "(Dear Mr. Gable) You Made Me Love You" from "The Broadway Melody of 1938" (1938).
